Bedfordshire University’s project guru warns of power drain by electric vehicles
Dr David Owen was the key note speaker at the 5th Annual Smart Electricity World Asia 2012 Conference, in Singapore.
Dr Owen, senior lecturer in operations and project management at the University’s Business School said: “This is an exciting time for the motor industry but one that electricity suppliers need to plan for.”

Hide AdHe has been working on the global impact of increasing numbers of electric vehicles for years and is developing a research and consultancy as well as a subject specialism at the university.
Dr Owen leads a course at the Business School for the MSc project management course, lectures MBA and undergraduate students in operations and project management and is developing web-based course material for a distance learning version of the MSc project management course.
