Luton blogger wants to give the wedding industry a gift this Christmas

Becca Pountney, from Engage Weddings, has put together a local gift guide so you can support a small local wedding business this year whilst doing your shopping.

The wedding blogger spent lockdown supporting supporting local wedding business owners with their marketing, helping them to find ways to pivot into other areas to keep their businesses going and giving them a space online where they can talk to and encourage each other.

Now, she has created a gift guide so shoppers can also support local businesses this Christmas.

Becca said: "The wedding industry has had a bumpy ride through 2020 but this resilient, creative industry is here for you this Christmas.

"From video messages from Santa to eco-friendly wrapping paper, cocktail kits, jewellery and much more, by supporting these small business owners you are going to keep these local businesses going into 2021 and beyond.

"It’s important to me that these wedding business owners get through this so that they still have the businesses that they have worked so hard to get started.

"This Christmas it is important for people to shop local, but it can be difficult to know where to start.
