Regenerating after 80 years in business

THE Luton office of communiy regeneration specialists Bramall Construction joined in the celebrations as the company reached its 80th anniversary.

Some 47 staff are based at the Capability Green offices of the national £225 million turnover business.

It is part of the Keepmoat Group of companies.

Bramall considers its 80th anniversary to be a fantastic reason to celebrate. And it has commemorated the occasion at a dinner for some of its clients and customers, at this year’s national Chartered Institute of Housing Annual Conference in Harrogate.

Launched as a general contractor in 1931, Bramall Construction has grown to employ more than 950 people across England and Wales.

Bramall was the first social housing contractor to be assessed under the government’s Code for Sustainable Homes and being the first contractor to build homes to Codes Four and Six.

John Walsh, MD of Bramall Construction in the East of England, London and South East, said: “Although Bramall are quite new to the East of England London and South East we can use our strong history and vast experience to continue to deliver high quality housing and facilities to the region.
