Start up for the summer

BEDFORDSHIRE residents can get a taste of what it’s like to run a company of their own at free workshops organised by Business Link

The government’s help organisation is offering workshops covering everything from making decisions about whether to start-up, through to writing a business plan and finding customers.

Graham Coultas, pictured, head of start-up at Business Link in the East of England, said: “Becoming your own boss can be rewarding, but many of us have no idea how to get started, or even whether starting a business is the best option. That’s where Business Link comes in: we help thousands of people to start-up in business each year and it’s our job to provide support from the very start, right through to the first days of trading and beyond.”
