St Joseph’s Scout Group in Luton has been helping young people learn, grow, and have fun since it was established in 1942. Over the years, the group has offered Beavers for young people aged 6 to 8, Cubs for 8 to 10 and a half, and Scouts for 10 and a half to 14, giving generations of young people the chance to take part in exciting activities and develop important life skills.
In 2023, St Joseph’s opened its Squirrel Scouts Drey for 4 to 6 year olds, and the section has gone from strength to strength. Each week, the youngest Scouts enjoy games, crafts, outdoor play, and team activities that help them make friends, try new things, and begin learning #SkillsForLife.
The Squirrel Scouts programme provides a safe and welcoming environment for children to explore and grow, with plenty of fun and adventure along the way. Squirrels then move up into Beavers and continue their Scouting journey, building confidence and friendships at every stage.

Families in Luton are invited to come along for a free trial session to see what Squirrel Scouts is all about, or add their child to the waiting list.
