Academies are thriving and bustling

There are a variety of jobs available. And maybe one of them could be yours.

The Shared Learning Trust comprises a lower school, two primary schools and two secondary schools with a sixth form. Two of the schools also have nursery provision, which means the trust offers education to pupils aged from two to 18.

It is a family-orientated trust, focusing on staff progression and career development.

There is collaboration across all the academies, providing the opportunity for colleagues to work in various settings and encouraging them to try new things, with plenty of role enhancement.

Cathy adds: “Every colleague is valuable at every level to ensure the smooth running of our schools.

“From teaching to support staff, we offer careers requiring a variety of skillsets, in all stages of one’s career.

“Currently we have vacancies ranging from a site agent to academy key holder, to a learning support assistant to lead practitioners of core subject.

“In addition to these roles, we regularly seek administrative staff to support with the day to day running of our trust.”

Cathy says: “Not only do we offer a fantastic pension, but we care about the mental health and wellbeing of our staff, providing sessions with a licensed counsellor if required and on-site gyms at some of our academies.
