Coronavirus latest: 11 new cases confirmed in Luton in past 24 hours

11 new coronavirus infections have been confirmed in Luton in the past 24 hours, according to Public Health England.

The number of Covid-19 infections in the borough now stands at 1,586 (+11).

Elsewhere in the county, Central Bedfordshire has 1,280 (+4) cases while Bedford's figure stands at 1,362 (+7).

Across the country, there have been 305,623 infections at an increase of 938 over the past 24 hours.

46,210 people have died with coronavirus in the UK, up by 9 since yesterday.
