Coronavirus latest: 13 new cases confirmed in Luton over weekend

13 new instances of coronavirus have been confirmed in Luton over Saturday and Sunday, figures from Public Health England reveal.

The number of Covid-19 infections in the borough now stands at 1,575.

Elsewhere in the county, Central Bedfordshire has 1,276 cases while Bedford's figure stands at 1,355.

Across the country, there have been 304,695 infections at an increase of 744 over the past 24 hours.

46,201 people have died with coronavirus in the UK, up by 8 since yesterday.
