Yesterday (Tuesday) saw 16 new cases in Luton. It brings the total number of people diagnosed in the borough to 740.
The past week has seen large ups and downs in Luton's daily coronavirus figures, with a peak of 52 new instances between Thursday and Saturday followed by two days without further new cases on Sunday and Monday.

Hide AdIn other parts of the county, Central Bedfordshire has 633 (+8) cases but has been overtaken by Bedford at 635 (+24).
Nationally, 267,240 have been diagnosed with coronavirus - increasing by 2,013 since yesterday.
37,640 people in the UK with the virus have died, with 412 deaths reported in the past 24 hours.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has today faced a further grilling about senior advisor Dominic Cummings, telling MPs on the Liaison Committee that a public inquiry would be "a waste of time".
