The school was informed on Monday, September 14, that a student had tested positive and decided to send all Year students home to self-isolate.
Jess Pather, deputy headteacher at Denbigh High School, said: “We were informed of a positive case of Covid-19 with one of our Year 7 students on Monday 14th September.
"We made the decision to close this year group class bubble and that all Year 7 students should self-isolate as a precautionary measure as advised by Public Health England.
