A junior doctor ran a marathon after his shift at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital and raised over £5,000 for COVID Crisis Rescue UK.

Dr Kieran Togher wanted to support the company that is working to supply personal protective equipment (PPE) to healthcare centres across the country during the coronavirus pandemic.

He wanted to do something to help provide PPE directly to frontline healthcare staff, his aim was to raise £1,000 - his total amount raised was £5,718.
