But, Penrose roots has been given a larger part of garden by Luton Council to grow vegetables for the community, and are looking for a partner to provide seeds for them to grow in the garden.
Sam Smith, service manager at Pensrose Roots to Recovery, said: "We have been given the middle bit of land to grow on and the vegetables we grow will go to the foodbank and the clients we help in the wider community.
"It means we now have about 30 times more land to grow on which is fantastic news, we now just need the seeds to grow the vegetables.
