Ashfaque Choudhury, from Bury Park Road Mosque, who is among those featured, said: “I am taking the vaccine and encouraging our brothers and sisters to take this vaccine. It is very important that we don’t get bogged down by conspiracy theories and don’t get scared into not taking it. “
Liz Lees, chief nurse at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust, said: “Our vaccination team was delighted to see so many leaders from faith and community groups attend. They all had such enthusiasm and positivity about the vaccine and the protection it provides from the risks of this virus.
“I’d like to reassure everyone that the vaccine is safe, effective, and has minimal side-effects.
“I’ve had it and I urge everyone to get vaccinated when it becomes available to you – it’s the best way to protect yourself and your loved ones.”

All vaccines approved for use in the UK have met strict standards of safety, quality and effectiveness set out by the independent Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
Dr Joan Bailey, who attends Holy Cross Church in Marsh Farm, added: “When you get your letter inviting you to get booked in for a vaccine, please remember the importance of coming out to have it done. It will protect you and others and ultimately will save lives.
"I know from my experience that posting a video on social media of me getting ready to be vaccinated has convinced others to do so the same.”
