Holidaymakers dig deep for spinal charity

A COLLECTION at Luton Airport for the spinal cord injury charity Aspire raised more than £250.

The temperature was -7C when staff and volunteers from the charity arrived at the airport, but people setting off on their holidays gave generously.

Andrew Ogierman, events fundraiser at Aspire, said: “We had a fantastic morning collecting at Luton Airport and managed to raise £252.00 for our efforts.

“A big ‘thank you’ to Luton Airport for giving us this opportunity.”
