And staff at the L&D are advising people that the survey is genuine, all answers are confidential and the results can help improve the quality of healthcare in the NHS.

It will be asking about your experiences as an in-patient, The NHS In-Patient Survey is part of a national programme gaining information about patient experiences and the quality of care that the NHS delivers.

Understanding the way patients experience the care and treatment they receive is essential to a complete assessment of the quality of healthcare

A spokesman said: “ We would therefore encourage patients who have been contacted about the survey to complete it, where possible, as we value their feedback.”
