Full House Theatre and Luton Culture are putting together a ‘Feb Fest’ of free shows, storytelling and creative activities, as well as ticketed performances, dance workshops, youth theatre and even an omnibus screening of a locally made soap opera. The event has been held in the town for the past two years.

Full House creative director Ben Miles said: “Feb Fest is going from strength to strength. In the past it’s been known for brilliant shows and workshops for the very young but this year we’re sharing the love with some great work for older ones too.”

The Library Theatre will host one of the festival highlights, Puss in Boots, which is performed by CBBeebies favourite Patrick Lynch with a host of puppets.

New this year is ‘Sing-along-a-Tea Party’ at Connors Café where visitors can join Full House for some songs while you enjoy afamily afternoon tea. Also on offer is the chance to see an omnibus edition of online soap The Secret Stories of Haddock Farm, a show created by Full House with local special needs group BDCPS.

The whole family can listen to the story of The Tap Dancing Mermaid at Stockwood Discovery Centre and take part in a family dance workshop, also at Stockwood.

To catch the show Snow Child head to The Hat Factory, and older ones can catch the fresh and innovative dance theatre show Boy Meets Girl on Valentine’s Day in The Mall free of charge.
