Active Luton members have been donating Easter Eggs to Keech Hospice Care as part of a Eggs for Eggsercise membership offer.
Members have had their Active Luton start-up fee waived by donating an Easter Egg to Keech Hospice Care, the offer began on Wednesday, April 1.
The first batch of eggs were delivered to Keech last week to be handed out to children with family members in hospice care over the holiday period.
Claire Seath, regional fundraiser at Keech Hospice Care, said: “We are most grateful to Active Luton for kindly thinking of families here at Keech Hospice Care this Easter.
“There has been a real variety of fun eggs, generously donated by the public through their campaign and these will put an extra smile on the children’s faces during their activities here at the hospice.
“Thank you to everyone who has donated these eggs.”
The offer is valid until Sunday, April 19.
Chief executive of Active Luton, Helen Barnett, said: “This has been a really nice campaign for us to run as people have given generously for a wonderfully deserving cause, and at the same time made a commitment to improving their own health and wellbeing.
“The offer is open for a few more days so I encourage people to take advantage of our fabulous facilities and fitness programmes and join up without any start-up fees.”
