Young patients at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital will benefit from a Community Christmas Appeal launched by Dunelm of Dunstable, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust will be just one of a number of local organisations nominated to receive gifts this year as part of Dunelm’s ‘Delivering Joy This Christmas’ appeal.

Donating is very simple – all you need to do is:

- Pop into the store and take a tag from the Dunelm Christmas Tree

- Fill a shoe box with gifts

- Return your box by December 11.

The gifts will then be collected by the hospitals’ charity team and given out to patients on the Children’s ward at the Luton and Dunstable University Hospital on Christmas Day.

Bianca Lee-John visited the Dunelm store last week, she said: “We would like to give a huge thank you and good luck to the Dunelm Dunstable team and their customers.

"We are extremely grateful to them for launching this wonderful Christmas gift appeal which will delight our young patients on Christmas Day.
