Luton's LGBT community invited to series of online cultural events

East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT) will be hosting ‘Beyond The Rainbow’ - a series of online events celebrating the achievements, culture and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community - from Sunday, September 13, until Saturday, September 19,

An ELFT spokesman said: "We’re holding live Zoom sessions including sing-along sessions, discussions around faith, culture and being part of the LGBTQ+ community, launching our ELFT’s Allies programme, as well as sound bath and mindfulness sessions.

"There will also be some great pre-recorded sessions that will be shared on our YouTube channel.

"These will feature spoken word poetry, inclusive story time for all ages, and a special performance of a trans fairy tale which touches on transphobia, sexuality, mental health and self esteem.

"Whether you use ELFT services, are a health or social care colleague, or part of the wider community, get involved!"
