Luton’s annual street event is the second biggest annual carnival in the country, growing rapidly from its modest start in 1976.

Now it is a riot of colour and noise, with paraders showing off some spectacular costumes for the procession through the streets of the town from Wardown Park.

It all kicks off from 12 noon when carnival bands will parade through the streets of Luton to St George’s Square where there will be a parade of amazing costumes and moves before heading back to the park to continue the revelery.

Sound sites will be situated across Wardown Park and the town centre hosted by local DJs who will be getting everyone in the carnival spirit, playing the sounds of Salsa, Soca, Drum n Bass beats and many more.
