It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas as pantomime season kicks off in MK

Forget the John Lewis television ad, forget the Coca-Cola lorry – it’s the Milton Keynes Theatre pantomime that really signals the start of the Christmas season.

This year’s festive offering is Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs, featuring Hollywood star Warwick Davis.

He will be joined by Kev Orkian, who returns to panto as the hapless Muddles after rave reviews for his performance as Buttons in last year’s Cinderella, and West End star Shaun Dalton as the dashing Prince Charming trying to win the heart of Snow White, played by singing sensation Kate Stewart.

Jennifer Ellison turns boo-able baddie as she takes on the role of the Wicked Queen.

Jennifer found fame in Brookside and has since starred in West End shows including Chicago and Singin’ In The Rain.

She said: “Panto is a really special occasion for all the family. Having just had my second baby I’m looking forward to seeing generations coming together for this fantastic tradition to cheer on the goodies and boo the baddies.

“This will be the first ‘baddy’ I have played in panto and I’m actually really excited about hearing those boos. Bring it on Milton Keynes.”

Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs is one of the best known and most loved fairytales, about seven hardworking dwarves and a handsome prince who try and rescue the beautiful Snow White.

Can true love’s first kiss really save the day?

And will Snow White and Prince Charming live happily ever after?

Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs has everything you would expect from a Milton Keynes Theatre pantomime – sumptuous sets, lavish costumes, a laugh-a-minute script, big song and dance numbers, audience participation and lots more.

It’s a Christmas treat for all the family, from December 6, 2013 until January 12, 2014.
