Dunstable Amateur Operatic Society is presenting the hit musical, based on the much-loved film, on Friday and Saturday, June 3 and 4.

The show tells an upbeat story of self-discovery, following the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery, and scandal in pursuit of her dreams.

Director Angela Goss said: “I am very excited about this production.

“Everyone has worked incredibly hard over the past few months to bring this lovely, fun-filled, vibrant, colourful and upbeat show to Dunstable. We have a stellar cast, a brilliant orchestra and highly skilled technical support for this show.

“DAOS has a reputation for producing excellent shows and Legally Blonde will not disappoint. All we need now is the audience!”

Leading actress Helen Harris said: “Elle Woods is such a fabulous character – she’s funny, ditzy and very very pink!

“I’ve absolutely loved stepping into her shoes – even though pink is really not my colour – and being part of such a vibrant and professional production of Legally Blonde.”

The show runs at 7.30pm on Friday, June 3, and Saturday, June 4, with an matinee at 2.30pm on the Saturday.

Tickets range from £16.50 to £18.50.
