Men wanted for banking dance show

Men of all ages are being asked to find their dancing shoes and get ready to be part of history at The Hat Factory in Luton.

Whether you’ve never danced before or your only experience is some dad-style-dancing after a few pints on a Saturday night, this is a great opportunity to have a laugh and get creative.

As part of Altered Skin’s new show Power Games, which explores the issue of the global banking crisis in 2008 and the impact it had on the UK, the Hat Factory will be hosting a curtain-raiser before the show.

An all-male group will perform a five-minute piece in front of a live audience before the main show on May 15 and 16.

Oluwatoyin Odunsi from The Hat Factory said: “Ask your friend, partner, colleague, family member, your neighbour or even yourself if you would like a cool creative challenge and you fit the bill.

“We are looking for 16 men aged 18 and upwards - and we are talking up to 100 years here - who have never danced before, or can dance a little bit to be a part of history.”

The piece will be made from scratch by the group in partnership with Shane Shambhu, artistic director of Altered Skin.
