Panto that’s strictly for the adults

Panto season for the little ones may be drawing to a close, but for the big girls and boys it’s only just beginning.

The grown-ups can put their feet up after all the dashing about being Santa’s little helpers, and enjoy some adult entertainment (not that kind of adult entertainment!)

If you thought the innuendos in your family pantos were a bit much - and anyone who saw Louie Spence in Cinderella will probably wonder how things could possibly get any ruder - wait til you see Pantomonium from The Other Miss W.

The “hilariously filthy adult pantomime” involves one set, two doors, three girls, endless costume changes and a barrel of laughs.

Unfortunately some of the description provided by the producers are not entirely suitable for a family newspaper, but a review from last year’s show said: “I laughed too much to be offended.”

Pantamonium comes with a warning that it may cause offence and ‘possible urination’. Join Jackie as she hunts for the villain in Panto land with the help of all your favourite Panto characters including a rather raunchy Aladdin.

From January 9 -12 at The Place in Bradgate Road, Bedford.

Shows start at 9pm (past the watershed!)

For tickets call the box office on 01234 269519, or or visit theplacebedford.org.uk.

This show is not suitable for children and is strictly over 18’s and contains strong language.

Tickets are £12.00 and £10 for students with an NUS card on Wednesday.
