Players swing back to the 60s
The Phoenix Players are one of the first amateur companies to be given the rights to perform The Young Ones, a stage show based on the 1961 film of the same name.
Featuring music from the swinging 60s, if you liked Dreamboats And Petticoats this is the musical for you.
The company are directed by Alan Purton, with musical direction from David Thomas and choreography from Jackie Hensley – who is also busy supporting her son and former Phoenix Player Jaymi Hensley as he takes part in the X Factor this year.
