Unsigned musicians and aspiring models are invited to the launch of the first ever Bedfordshire Music and Fashion Week on April 27.

To celebrate the inaugural BMFW, the team will host a model casting followed by an evening of entertainment at the UK Centre for Carnival Arts.
Unsigned artists, up-and-coming designers and anyone who fancies strutting their stuff on a catwalk is encouraged to come along to the event and get involved.
BMFW will take place in Luton from July 7 - 12 this year and it’s a chance to celebrate style and talent in the area.
The model casting is from 2pm - 5pm on April 27 and is open to men and women.

During BMFW models will not only walk the catwalk to showcase collections from local fashion designers, they will also compete for the title of Face of Bedfordshire Music and Fashion Week.
A BMFW spokesperson said: “You don’t need previous modelling experience and you don’t need to crave a career in high fashion. We are searching for regular folks as well as that rough diamond.”
The search for unsigned artists to appear at the main music events in July will take place from 7pm - 11pm on the same day.
The spokesperson said: “We are looking for outstanding, talented performers: singers, bands, singer, rappers, even poets. We give you the platform to express your creativity and perform in front of a live audience that includes management companies and talent scouts,. If you are a musician, we really want to hear from you. This is a great opportunity to gain experience and exposure.”
