Adults with learning difficulties arts and craft sessions. Every Wednesday 10.30am to 12.30pm and Saturdays from 11am to 1pm at Arttrend, Arundel Road, Luton. Luton Irish Forum holds a weekly Tuesday and Wednesday Club from 11am to 1.30pm at 102 Hitchin Road. This is a great chance to meet old friends and make some new ones. Refreshments are all included along with soda bread, scones with jam and monthly chicken and chips. Entry costs £1, plus optional £3 for two games of bingo and a raffle.

Singer-songwriter Kimmie Rhodes is a native Texan who calls Austin home. Kimmie’s multi-platinum selling songs have been recorded by such stellar acts as Willie Nelson, Wynonna Judd, Trisha Yearwood, Amy Grant, CeCe Winans, Joe Ely, Mark Knopfler and Emmylou Harris. A creative and prolific artist, she has recorded and released a total of 16 solo CDs, written and produced three musical plays and a catalogue of hundreds of songs, and published a novella/ cookbook. Hattie Briggs is a Gloucestershire-based singer-songwriter and a 2014 BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award nominee. She released her debut album Red & Gold last April. The album includes a cover of Eva Cassidy’s version of Fields Of Gold, produced by Eva’s brother, Dan Cassidy, who also plays a violin solo on the record. She completed her first national tour supporting Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman at 25 gigs around the UK in April and May 2015. She performs at The Stables, Wavendon at 8.45pm. Martyn Joseph is a performer like no other – he’s an amazing guitar player who has developed a unique percussive style, teamed with a powerful showstopping voice. He has been called ‘The Welsh Springsteen’ but there are shades of John Mayer, Bruce Cockburn and Dave Matthews in there as well.
