A bunny is for life, not just for Easter

CHOCOLATE, Dale and Tyson are looking for a home this Easter.

All the rabbits (pictured) were rescued from the Luton area where they were neglected or mistreated.

They are currently living with Feline Cat Rescue foster mum Emma, but need permanant homes with a family of their own.

Chocolate, aptly named for the Easter season, is two years old and was not looked after properly by his breeder which left him with a weepy eye.

The minor medical condition will clear up with regular bathing, so Chocolate needs an experienced owner who can nurse his eye back to health and make him a happy bunny again.

Chocolate also needs regular teeth checks to keep him healthy.

Carer Emma said: “Chocolate is a nice chilled and relaxed bunny. With regular bathing his eye will be fine. He needs teeth checks too but other than that he is perfectly healthy.”

One-year-old Dale is in good health but also needs regular teeth checks, so he would suit anyone with a bit of rabbit experience.

Emma said: “Dale is lovely, really relaxed and happy and loves to be cuddled.”

7-month-old Tyson is slightly more boisterous than his bunny mates, but he is very friendly and gets on with children and other pets.

Emma said: “Tyson would be perfect for someone’s first pet. He likes to explore and is quite inquisitive and nosy.

“He’s not as popular as the other two because his colouring is like a wild rabbit but he’s so friendly and just wants to be loved.”

The rabbit gang are all used to being out in the garden and can generally be trusted to hop about out of their hutches with no problems.
