Airport names new charity partner
The choice was the result of a public poll.
Airport community relations executive Sian Pearce said: “We received more than 7,000 votes with Sue Ryder securing 38 percent to become our new charity partner.
“We are looking forward to working with them to support their valuable work in the community.”

Hide AdFunds raised from the partnership will help specialist care centres at Stagenhoe and St John’s Hospice.
Stagenhoe has a 44-bedded residential unit that cares for people with complex neurological conditions such as Huntingdon’s disease.
St John’s, which has 15 beds, provides palliative care for those with cancer, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis and other life-changing conditions.
