Ambulance crews team up for safer summer
TWO air ambulance crews are teaming up to cover the longer days and ensure people in the Dunstable area are safe over the summer.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Trust, which operate two aircraft each, started covering Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk and Norfolk together on Monday, from 7am to sunset, attending serious accident scenes.
Previously, the aircraft went offline at around 5pm.
