Batmobile in cancer rally

Caped crusaders from Houghton Regis will jump into their very own Batmobile as they join a rally to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK.

Lee Hudson, 41, and Jordan Webb, 28, will join 24 teams in the superhero and villain-themed race to St Tropez.

The daring duo work for GRS Bagging, suppliers to drainage solution company Keyline which is organising the event.

The teams will set off on June 22 and will travel more than 1,000 miles via Soissons and Grenoble to the French port.

Ex international footballer and Prostate Cancer UK champion Luther Blissett will join the fundraisers for this special event.

Keyline MD Kieran Griffin said: “This will be our seventh annual rally and each year we receive fantastic support. Since launching our partnership with Prostate Cancer UK, we have raised more than £1.2 million for the charity which contributes to the fantastic work undertaken to fight this terrible disease.”
