Be sure to check festive train times
First Capital Connect is urging customers to check train times for changes and improvements on the Thameslink route over the Christmas period.
For the third year running, it will also be offering free travel for passengers travelling from Central London on New Year’s Eve.
Free travel will be available between 11.45pm on December 31 and 4.30am on January 1, and additional services will also be operating.
There will be no service on Christmas Day or Boxing Day.
