Bestselling artist a draw at the hospice
AWARD-WINNING artist and illustrator James Mayhew proved a big draw at Keech Hospice Care when he dropped in for a workshop.
The Letchworth-based master storyteller has written more than 20 books including the popular Katie’s Picture Show.
During his session at Keech, James told the story of The Firebird, talking and illustrating simultaneously.
The kind-hearted author donated the work to be auctioned next year as part of the charity’s 21st birthday celebrations.
He also gave children at the workshop a signed picture to take home.
