Brush up on first aid for the Diamond Jubilee
FIRST aid should be on the preparations list for any Diamond Jubilee party, says charity St John Ambulance.
The charity says anyone hosting a party can visit its website – www.sja.org.uk – or download its free iPhone app for first aid advice.
Community first aid manager Bradley Sweet said: “Whenever people get together in groups, there is the potential for someone to need first aid, whether it’s a street party for 100 or a family gathering.
“If you don’t know first aid, just take a few minutes to brief yourself on what basic steps you need to do.”
