Burglaries in Toddington - CCTV released

Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with four burglaries in the Toddington area on Wednesday and Thursday (October 3 and 4).

The first offence took place in Wingfield Road, Tebworth, between 11pm on Wednesday and 7.30am the following morning.

Offenders managed to force open the front door of the house before stealing two laptop computers, a wallet and a set of car keys before leaving the property.

Somtime between 10pm on Wednesday and 10am on Thursday, offenders forced open the front door of a house in Bradford Road, Toddington.

Once inside, the offenders stole several items including a laptop, mobile phone, handbag, purse and cash.

Between 9.30-11.30am, a third burglary took place in Manor Road, Toddington. The offender forced open a conservatory door before stealing necklaces and rings along with cash.

The offender fled through the back door when the victim returned and saw him. He is described as a white male, in his early 20s and wearing a green top.

A fourth burglary took place between 12.55-1.20pm in Shelton Avenue, Toddington.

Offenders approached the property in a white transit van before using a screwdriver to force open the victim’s front door and enter the house. The offender then searched the property stealing numerous items of jewellery, a laptop, games consoles and mobile phones which were put in two pillow cases before he fled the property, got into the passenger side of the van and was driven away.

CCTV images from Shelton Avenue shows a white male, mid 30s, about 5ft 9ins, stocky build and wearing a grey hooded top.
