Burglary victims plead: ‘Please help us find precious pup Bosley’

A CADDINGTON couple have made a desperate plea for the safe return of their 12-week-old puppy, which was stolen during a burglary.

Samantha and William Holmes’ house in Chaul End Road, Caddington, was broken into on Thursday (September 30), and the only thing taken was 12-week-old wheaten Scottish terrier pup, Bosley.

Samantha saidL “He has only had his first set of innoculations so he is very vulnerable. The police believe the thieves broke in looking for car keys, had no luck and took our puppy instead.

“We are totally devastated.”

Bosley’s owners believe the thieves may try to sell him on as a West Highland terrier, and are hoping that someone will recognise he is a Scottie.

Samantha added: “He is a Scottish terrier but a quite rare wheaten colour. Most people are unaware you can get white Scotties, so he could have been sold on or is being passed off as a West Highland terrier or even a Cairn terrier.”

The couple are offering a £750 reward for Bosley’s safe return. They can be contacted on 07776 408636.
