They work with schools and families to ensure the children have what they need to do their best at school.

Robbie Johnston, owner of RJ Roofing, organised the event. He said: “Our company has always got involved in charity work. It is rewarding for our employers and really enjoyable too.

“We want to help people in need who live in our town. Businesses in our networking group are growing and so we want to give back to our town as it supports our businesses.

“It is the least we can do and for a really great cause.”

The golf tournament was won by Syed Ali. His teammate, Stewart Huckett of U Name It promotions, said: “It was a great day and I really enjoyed taking part.

“I love to play golf and being able to support Level Trust at the same time is a win-win for me.

“Robbie donated the tee times as well, meaning that all the money raised goes straight to Level Trust.”

Level Trust’s Katy Royce said: “It is a real privilege to meet and work with so many businesses in Luton.

“We are so fortunate to receive donations like this towards our work.

“This money will be used to provide 4-year-olds with school bags full of stationery that will help children to enjoy learning at home, as they prepare to start school.

“We are so grateful to BNI Encore for organising this event!”
