Cancer survivor petitions No 10

LUTON cancer survivor Elizebeth Bailey, 47, has urged the Government to make the treatment which helped save her life available to all cancer patients.

The mother-of-two went to Downing Street to hand over a petition from Cancer Research UK in support of the Voice of Radiotherapy campaign.

The treatment helps cure more people than drugs but the charity claims shortages in staff and equipment mean thousands of people are missing out on this potentially life-saving treatment.
