Keech Hospice Care was presented with a cheque for £2100, thanks to the fundraising efforts of Chantry Primary Academy.
The school held a non school uniform day at the end of the summer term to raise money for the charity that provides care for adults and children with life-limiting or terminal illnesses.
Three teachers and 12 pupils also took part in Keech’s Colour Dash in July.
Jamie Kelly, assistant head teacher, said: “The colour dash was good fun, the pupils and staff had to run around Wigmore Park whilst getting pelted with colour bombs!
“We are extremely proud of everyone who took part and the generosity of our parents and especially those who sponsored the children.
“This is one of the highest amounts we have ever raised.
“The staff at Keech were really impressed with our efforts and we are keen to continue our fundraising partnership with them in the near future.”
