Luton and Dunstable’s first Charity Bike Ride will take place on Sunday, June 28.
It’s been organised by the Luton and Dunstable Cycling Forum in conjunction with Sustrans.
There are two routes of 20 or 40 miles. Both start and end at Dunstable Downs and follow quiet roads and shared pathways to allow riders to enjoy the countryside while raising money for good causes.
The shorter route is for families and beginners and there are no time constraints.
Registration is £15 (or £10 per member for family groups) and is in aid of four charities – Keech Hospice Care, Luton&Dunstable Hospital Fund, the National Trust and Sustrans.
Forum chairman Robin Cowan said he started cycling 15 years ago to get fit: “Getting a bike was the key.”
