College celebrates diversity success

The prestigious award is about creating conditions for promoting greater engagement,communication and discussion with the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI). 

Claire Dores, Vice-Principal for Transforming Equalities and Safeguarding, said: “We are proud to have achieved the Investors in Diversity Award, a prestigious quality mark and an all-encompassing approach to managing equality, diversity and inclusion effectively.

“We are committed to being a College that creates opportunities for people no matter what their circumstances and will continue to make a large investment in raising the awareness of EDI.”

The assessor at The National Centre for Diversity said: “It is great to see the progress made by the College in the last year. The Principal and his new management team have made a positive impact. The survey results have significantly improved year on year.”
