Distinctive jewellery was stolen during a burglary in Luton on Tuesday (July 12).
Between 10.50am and 12noon a property in Chiltern Rise was broken into and cash and jewellery were stolen, including an 18 carat gold ring with the initials ‘SFK’ engraved in it and a diamond band ring.
PC Robyn Gleeson, investigating, said: “This offence happened in broad daylight and I’m appealing for anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area at this time, or who has information that may help us, to get in touch.
“We are particularly interested in the engraved ring that was stolen and would ask anyone that has seen a ring matching that description or has been approached to buy the ring to come forward. Burglary is a distressing crime for victims and we are committed to finding those responsible.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Gleeson on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
