Appeal for robber in skeleton mask

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked in Luton on Friday 10 April.

The man was walking along Pirton Road just before 2am when he was approached by a man and physically assaulted, before having his wallet stolen.

Detective Constable Dave Brenock said: “This was a nasty, unprovoked, violent attack and we are urging anyone with information that could help us find the person responsible to contact us. Fortunately the man was not seriously injured.

“The suspect is described as white, approximately 5’9”, well-built, and was wearing a dark hooded top with light trousers and a skeleton face mask.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Brenock on 101, text 07786 200 011, or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
