Between 10.20pm and 10.40pm last Wednesday (April 13) a man broke in to a home in London Road, Luton, via a first-floor window.

He searched the upstairs rooms of the property but was disturbed by the homeowner and made off.

The offender is described as being white, 5’7”, of slim build and with short fair hair.

PC Ryan Barnes, investigating, said: “This was a traumatic ordeal for the victim – nobody deserves to have their home violated and experience the fear of an intruder in their property.

“I’d urge anyone who saw a male matching this description in the London Road area last Wednesday to contact police.”

Call PC Barnes on 101, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, with information.
