Officers are keen to speak to anyone who recognises the items pictured, or has been offered similar items for sale.

Det Con Gareth Suffling, investigating, said: “There are some distinctive items that have been stolen in this burglary and we are keen to speak to anyone with information that could help us catch those responsible.

“Having your home broken into is hugely distressing for victims, and in this instance sentimental items were taken by callous crooks.

“We take burglary very seriously and are committed to tackling this crime and reducing offending.”
