As a result of the stop, officers carried out a warrant at a property in Dunstable Road, Luton, where they found more than 30 kilograms of other substances also believed to be Class A drugs, including cocaine and heroin. A significant quantity of steroids were also found and seized.

Detective Inspector Dave Skarratts, from ERSOU, said: “Despite current difficult times, our work to tackle serious and organised crime across the region continues, and we’re really pleased to have been able to remove such a significant quantity of Class A drugs from the market.

"We’ll be continuing to work with our forces and partners to clamp down on drug related criminality, protecting our communities from the harm it causes.”
