Four people have been arrested after the death of a man in Luton yesterday.

Emergency services received a call reporting concern for the welfare of a man in Crescent Road at approximately 9.20pm.

Police and the ambulance service attended the address but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A woman and three men have been arrested in connection to the incident and have been taken into custody for further questioning.

The Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit (MCU) have launched an investigation into the man’s death and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Detective Inspector Justine Jenkins said: “We’re currently investigating the circumstances around this death and I’m appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.

“If you were in or around Crescent Road yesterday and you saw or heard anything unusual or suspicious then please do contact us immediately.”

Officers will remain at the property in Crescent Road to carry out further lines of enquiries.
