Four people have been arrested over drugs offences after Bedfordshire Police raided a house in Luton today.
The raid took place at Rickyard Close in Stopsley. A 24-year-old woman, a boy aged 17 and two men, aged 20 and 21 respectively, were taken into custody on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs.
Sgt Sebastian Greschner from the Luton community policing team led the operation with a team of six officers, using Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act warrant.
Sgt Greschner said: “This operation is part of our ongoing work to crack down on drug use in the county.
“The warrant we executed today uncovered large quantities of suspected class A and B drugs and a stash of cash was also found.
“Bedfordshire Police is committed to protecting people and we were pleased to receive great support from the community of Luton today.”
A temporary closure order has been applied for at the house.
