Four robberies '“ but have others not been reported?

Police are appealing for information following a series of robberies in Luton.

On the night of Sunday, July 3 and early hours of the following day, four robberies took place in the town between around 6.10pm and 12.30am.

The offences took place in Telford Way, Lansdowne Road, Spencer Road and Biscot Road. In at least two of the incidents, the offender was thought to be armed with a knife.

Detective Constable Mark Amey said: “This is a nasty spree of crimes which we believe may be linked. From our enquiries we believe there may have even been further offences committed around this time which haven’t been reported, and I’d urge anyone who has been a victim of such an attack to come forward so that we can investigate thoroughly.

“I’d also be keen to speak to anyone who has any information about the incidents.”
