A five-year-old girl was involved in an attempted house burglary in Luton, police have said.
At around 6pm on February 6 an adult and a child gained access to the rear garden of a property on Blenheim Crescent, smashed a window and attempted to gain entry.
However, the occupant of the property disturbed the pair and they fled.
It is unknown whether the adult was male or female but the child involved is said to be female and approximately five-years-old.
The victim believes the same child knocked on her door earlier on the day.
PC Crouch, investigating, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who has experienced a similar incident, or seen anyone in the area at the time of the incident acting suspiciously.”
